On Febuary 14th we will be blessed with the next installment of Street Fighter and allot of things are heating up the internet…Cammy, Fei Long, Rose, Dan, Sakura and Akuma. Folks are also hyped about the once mysterious trainer of Ken and Ryu, Gouken, actually making an appearance in Street Fighter 4. But here’s the catch…
Ms. Chobot from ign.com asked me to find out something about the Bahamut Zero Countdown Clock over at square-enix. I sorry that I came up with NADA on short notice, but the clock looks cool as hell and whatever is going to be announced, released or summoned will be exposed tomorrow! My money say it’s gonna be like Bahamut, Alexander, Odin and ‘em in like some epic Summon Smash Brawl Smack Down Extreme HD Godzilla Battle Game!
On November 3rd, Forgenjuro and I slid into the Street Fighter IV National Tournament at the Shinagawa Inner City Hall in Tokyo with press passes! (Jeah!) The SFIV competition was off the meter! I knew Dhalism was good but he’s Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 GOOD in SFIV! Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom staff dropped a couple of new character announcements for the Wii release. Viewtiful Joe being the most exciting addition to an already impressive roster and Fate Unlimited Code, the anime based fighter along SFIV were all on free play! And of course the Capcom SFIV models for Chun-Li, Sakura, and C.Viper made an appearance!
Ten Ton Hammer recently spoke with Mythic’s Associate Producer Mark Davis and they have graciously shared some info on Warhammer Online’s next Live Event, Heavy Metal. Sadly, we won’t be seeing any green, soul stealing orbs of darkness or scantly clad vixens strutting through Altdorf. But WAR players will be welcoming two of the tanking classes that were cut from the game last summer. The Dark Elves’ Blackguard (Destruction) and the Empire’s Knight of the Blazing Sun (Order) will be brought into the game via the two week event.
Unlike the previous event, the Halloween themed Witching Night, this event will funnel the players into oh-so popular, but much maligned by open world RVRers, scenarios; specifically Reikland Factory. For those of you unfamilar with scenarios, think battlegrounds in World of Warcraft with a lot more gametypes and maps.
